Hello Ron, and my best to you and the FIDO after all these years.
I do miss the FIDONET ADAM ECHO, and when TECHTALK dropped the
coverage, I was surely disappointed and sought unsuccessfully to
find another carrier. I do find the LIST a pleasant suprise,
and enjoy the renewing of communication with many of the ECHOers.
It does have the quirk of sending your own messages back to your-
self, but a slight price to pay for a can on a string to the group.

What the LIST has done is make me aware of just how stale I have
become on the ADAM topic. In the few days since I have re-estab-
lished contact, I have been made aware of just how rusty my
recall is on ADAM topics... I will have to go to the volumes of
material I have and bone up for the quiz....:-)

But as you say, this is truly not the climate of the old ADAM
ECHO. Not as many parties, and not as topical to the realtime
use of the ADAM as it once was. But then how can you stop time?
When I see Guy Cousineau, Tony Morehen, and those others that
sparked the dialog and promoted the tutorage of ADAM's workings,
then I can say it is a it was...maybe? Yes, I will even have to
go to old ECHO lists to see the names of some regulars that my
memory fail at this moment.

I will perservere, and glad to be in the HUDDLE and hopefully
will add something positive in time.

Gerry St.Peter
